I'm on Ltd from work. Most employers only hold your position for up to two years. Of I'm still not ready to go back to work after that do they terminate me?

It will likely be dependent on what your doctor thinks. If there is a chance you'll be able to return to work down the road, they shouldn't terminate you. If, however, there's no chance you'll be able to return to work, they may elect to terminate you due to frustration of contract. There's no way to know for certain what they will do, unfortunately.

If you do run into any issues with your employer, and you're non-unionized, please give our employment team a call at 1-855-821-5900 to discuss. If you are unionized, you will need to speak with your union representatives for assistance
