I work for a credit union in Alberta and am in a mental health crisis and when I went to get the forms from Sunlife, who is our provider I was told that I needed to go through our HR department first I did have a conversation and sent an email, but I am extremely uncomfortable with this process and worried about my job now. I am concerned about dismissal as I cannot keep up with loan that I have through service and have tried to renegotiate terms, but am unable to.
