My wife is on LTD which will end in August 2024. The insurer sends her a letter about COD and transferring her claim to the Long Duration department. The same time she was advised to apply for CPPD benefit. Her employer has been informed about this information. My wife does not know what to do, what is her next step? What happened if her application for CPPD benefit will not be approved? I s she still employed or is her employment terminated? What options she has?

If she's been told her benefits will end, we can help. However, as there are a number of questions, I recommend contacting our disability specialist, Rebecca, so she can gather a bit more information and address your concerns in more detail. You can reach her at rebecca.stap@stlawyers.ca
