I am on WBC, Alberta. Was injured in Jan 2022. I have been determined to have a permanent disability and cannot return to my job as a Journeyman Red Seal Carpenter/Scaffolder. I have attended treatment, and have completed an entry level introduction to computers. I am being forced to now do a 12 week job search. My doc has me on medications that make it difficult for me to drive. WCB wants me to go to the doctor and get different medications. Can they force me to apply for work, change my meds etc?

Unfortunately, we don't practice WCB law here. I recommend that you contact your provincial law society's referral service for a referral to a firm that handles WCB cases.

If you also have an LTD policy/claim with an insurance company, please let us know, as that may be a claim that we can assist with.
