I was on LTD and made a return to work on a modified duty basis and basically out of nowhere 2 months later I was told I had to return to LTD even though I was told there was modified work available. Their reason was my condition was permanent and so they had no duty to accommodate my new limitations. When I asked them for a letter to explain the reasoning and decision none was provided, I was told the Insurer made the determination and they have no duty to accommodate me, and no further explanation was required. Now I am forced to live on half wages and the insurer is telling me I must make a reasonable application for CPPD to which they are entitled to all the benefit except I get to pay the tax on it? I know this is legal but its basically a public funded insurance claw back scam. Do I have any recourse on any of these points

I'm going to email you about this directly.
