I am currently off work and had surgery for a work related injury. Back in 2020 was the injury. WSIB has been topping up my wages the difference between my short term insurance through work and now I’ve been referred to the long-term person that WSID I received a call Two days ago, preparing me for if my work does not allow me to come back to work because of my injury is this not human rights issue that I got injured at my job but my job won’t let me come back or is this just a VIP bullying me into get back to work and just so you know you may not have a job to go back to it hasn’t quite been three months since my surgery. The surgeon told me it takes three months to get through the worst part of it but a full year to recover I have not started Physio until this coming week. I’m about to start it on Wednesday February. I believe it’s the 19th on Wednesday so before I have even begun any physiotherapy, WSIB is calling me consistently and the latest one was to prepare me if my employer does not take me back that WSID wants to know my employable skills now so that they can get me back to a job I’m wondering what my rights are and how I deal with WSID.
