Ask your question and a Long-term Disability Lawyer in Canada will answer in minutes
What should I be saying, or not saying to my insurance company during their follow up calls and questions? All calls are recorded, are they trying to "trip" me up and look for inconsistencies ?? When should I be concerned???
It's most important that you're honest with the insurer. Unfortunately, the nature of insurance companies is that they will always be looking for a way to try and cut off benefits to save themselves money. If you answer honestly and don't try to hide information from the insurer, they'll be less likely to find any inconsistencies. As long as you remain disabled from working and have medical support to show that, then your insurer should continue to pay.
If they start threatening your benefits or try to push you back to work before your ready, please let us know ASAP so we can help. They shouldn't do this.
