I'm currently on LTD from long haul covid. The insurance is offering a one time severance which covers about 3 years of payments, starting close to my 57th birthday. Part of the offer is they will continue to provide extended health, life, ADD insurance until I'm 65. Should I consider this offer?

It's very hard for us to evaluate whether an offer should be accepted based on such little information, unfortunately. Also, if your insurer is offering you an LTD payout, it would not be considered "severance". I'm going to email you about this directly.
