Can I leave the country if I’m on short-term disability or long-term disability?

It depends on the terms of your specific policy. Some policies have "travel terms" (sometimes called other things), that limit the time you can spend out of the province or country. You could also run into an issue if you leave the country and the insurance company wants you to do an assessment or treatment during that time, and you're unable.

If you're cut-off LTD for any reason, please let us know so we can connect you with a lawyer for a free consultation.
