Is there a law regarding long-term disability insurer, providing me with a copy of my personal information? I was sent to see a specialist (at there request) and the report went back to the insurance company, but did not go to my family physician. Do I have a right to ask for a copy?

You can certainly request it, which I recommend doing in writing, and you can also ask that it go to your family doctor. However, unfortunately, there's no way to force the insurer to produce this. If we were ever to start a legal claim, at that point, the insurer would be required to provide it
