Is late diagnosis of ADHD a disability?

Whether your medical issues qualify as a disability under your LTD policy is not necessarily dependent on the specific diagnosis. It instead depends on whether the symptoms your experiencing preclude your from working in a way that meets the written test in your policy.

A case of ADHD could satisfy the LTD test, if the symptoms were severe enough; but it may not if it's more of a mild and manageable case.

If you're denied LTD for any reason, please let us know so that we can connect you with an LTD lawyer right away.
