My husband broke his back during the course of his duties as a police canine officer in 1993. He went through 2 surgeries, the 2nd causing permanent damage. He was cut off from WSIB abruptly and when meeting was arranged to find out why, his association rep and WSIB rep forced him to take early retirement. This was 10 years ago, and we thought we didn’t have any recourse. Should we have contacted disability lawyer, and do we have any claim or recourse now?

There are limitation deadlines for starting these types of claims, which will likely have passed if it's been 10 years. But I'm going to email you directly to get a bit more information to see if there's a possible angle.
