I am on LTD due to stage 3A lung cancer. My oncologist has told me she doesn't want me to return to work until I have completed my immunotherapy treatments, which will be in January 2024. My insurer called me today and indicated that they want to implement a gradual return to work program in 6 weeks because they deem my condition to be stable based on recent CT scans. It's a very stressful job and my doctors have told me that stress is the worst thing for my recovery. Do I have any recourse here?
