How do I discontinue my Long term disability benefits? The insurer is preventing me from returning to my job. My employer was willing to have me come back and the insurer told them I'm not ready to return. My Doctor's note has been discontuied by the insurer. Any subsuquent interactions since then have been unsupportive, triggering has worked against my goals and my doctors/psychologists notes or assessments to return to work. My COD is tomorrow.
