I have been denied LTD, off work since nov 24 2022. Physical and Mental illness. Employer will hold my Electrician position for 264 working days. They have offered, I retire or resign. I don't know if they can do that ? I have contacted WSIB as ongoing injuries have never stopped . Can they make me resign. My appeal has to be denied before I can seek legal help about that. But what about the employment end of things ?? thank you sue

If you are non-unionized, I recommend giving our employment team a call ASAP to discuss your options at 1-855-821-5900. Unfortunately, if you are unionized, you will need to speak with your union representatives to discuss your options regarding your employment.
If you haven't already, I also suggest you give us a call for your LTD denial to see if there's anything we can do to help or speed the process along.
