I am coming up on 2 years on LTD. I received a letter saying they are extending my leave since I am not able to return to work. I am told my extended benefits are being cut off unless I pay $210/month to have it remain. Desjardins is my insurance company and Bluecross is my extended can I just pay for an individual health plan that I want or would that void my claim? I am not getting a respond from the insurance company! I have also applied for CPP but have not heard can I find out a status?

I'm going to email you directly about this.
