Can you collect cpp disability and long term disability from insurance company

You can be eligible to receive both at the same time, however, most insurance companies are entitled to an offset for what CPP Disability pays. This means, if you're earning 2,000 from your insurer, and CPP Disability pays you 1,000, the insurer would then only pay you 1,000 while the other 1,000 comes from CPP Disability. You can read more about this here: https://stlawyers.ca/disability-law/faq/cpp-long-term-disability/.
