If my LTD claim was denied approximately 2 years ago and I returned to work and now am on disability again for the same reason within the last three months, is there any legal recourse for that decision? Reason for denied claim is that they thought I could work at another job/was not totally disabled.

Depending on a few factors, such as how long you returned to work, and if it was full-time, you may be eligible to start a new application for disability benefits now. Unfortunately, if the initial claim was denied over 2-years ago, then we are barred by the limitations period to start a claim for that previous denial. I suggest that you reach out to our disability specialist, Rebecca, at rebecca.stap@stlawyers.ca to discuss further and determine any options.
