I had cervical disc replacement surgery in January 2023, which caused a nerve impingement to my dominant arm and severe trapezius pain caused by tension and job stress. . I was on short term sick pay until I recently tried a gradual re entry to my position working half days. Once I returned my back pain flared up and my arm throbs when I try and use a computer mouse and keyboard. My short term sick pay is almost used up and they want me to go on LTIP. The wording states must be off for six consecutive months to qualify for LTIP. Will my claim be denied because of my attempted return?

I'm going to email you about this directly.
