I am currently awaiting a decision on my LTD through work as my case has been "pended"; further doctor notes have been sent in.
I became eligible for LTD back in October 2024 and am wondering, if in general, when approved for benefits will these payments be retroactive to when I was first eligible in October? Or have I lost out on months of benefits and will continue to until my case (hopefully) gets approved?
Thank you.

If approved, you should be paid retroactive to eligibility.
