I have had an assessment from a clinical counselor ( assigned by LTD company)that I don't agree with. Can I get a second opinion from a councilor of my choosing?

You could certainly try (you would likely have to pay for it yourself) but you can also speak with your own health care providers aswell and have them review the report. If they also dont agree with any conclusions, they should document that and explain their own conclusions.
