I am on LTD, approved past the two year change, due to a progressive chronic illness (systemic scleroderma). According to my posted employment policies, I lose my health and dental benefits after 24 months on LTD. These expenses are quite significant- over $10k per year and anticipate they will increase over time. Is there a legal precedent to ask benefits be extended? Thank you.

I'm going to email you about this directly.
