I am on LTD and approved for CPPD. My insurance company is deducting CPPD from my monthly payment. My policy has an all source income maximum which includes CPPD. I have filed a complaint with insurance and insurance Ombudsman but they claim CPPD is a direct offset and that all other members are being treated the same. If the policy is ambiguous and have CPPD offset and all source income maximum includes CPPD which clause governs?

If your policy states the insurer is entitled to a direct offset for the CPPD, which occurs in the vast majority of policies, there generally is nothing that can be done to change it unfortunately and they would most often be entitled to that full offset.
