Hello
I am 60 years old and living in Nova Scotia and on WCB (and Sunlife, but no $from Sunlife since I get more on WCB than I would from them but still a client)
Now after almost 2 years Sunlife says I am required to apply for CCPD. Sunlife is not asking for a medical report from my doctor since they have all the medical reports, but WCB is saying they will send my medical reports to me and I can send to Sunlife and CCPD….And they say I will need a medical form from my doctor as well…?
I am very confused because CCPD application says if I am on another provincial disability (WCB) and they receive medical information from them I do not need to submit a medical report for CCPD…? So should WCB be sending my medical information to CCPD and/or should my doctor fill out the medical report?
I’m sorry for the confusing questions I just wanted to give you as much detail as possible for my situation.
Thank you

We unfortunately don't deal with WCB here at our firm, so I cannot speak to if they should be sending it or not. I'd recommend making sure your communications with WCB are in writing, and confirm with them fully what is required of you. If you're still unsure, you can reach out to the WCB and CPPD offices and check with them
