30 years ago I applied for a BC provincial disability with a letter from the doctor, chiropractor, physical therapist and massage therapist that I should not be working due to arthritis, I was denied I did an appeal it was denied do you think if I went to a lawyer back then I may have been approved. Thanks from Jim

Unfortunately, I would need to know which benefit you applied for, and I'd also need to review your medical records and the denial letters you received, in order to give a proper opinion on this.

You can read about certain provincial and federal government assistance programs that may be available to you on our website, at: https://stlawyers.ca/disability-law/faq/government-income-support-programs/ (not an exhaustive list).
