I have been on ltd for 3 years. My insurance company had me apply for cpp disability. It was denied. The insurance company has offered help to appeal through a 3rd party according to them. DCAC appeal assistance is what they called it. Looking for advise if I should accept this or not. Thanks

The request to apply for CPPD is pretty standard across all insurance companies. However, typically you don't need to appeal unless your policy says so. If you're hesitant, you can ask your insurer where it the policy it states you need to do this.
If the insurer says it's required per your policy, then using this third party would typically be okay as it means that insurer would pay the fees associated. If you would rather use a service that is not associated with your insurer, our firm also assists with CPP Disability denials and we can provide you with a free consultation on such.
