I have been on LTD for almost 2 years due to stage 4 cancer. I was told I will be moved to a different category once my 2 years is over. Not quite sure what it means for me. Also, I've recently learned that my direct manager and my only team co-worker was let go and it worries me of what it would mean for me. They haven't said anything yet, but i fear of what will happen if i ever go back to work... if i get cut off disability, my family would be in financial trouble. I just want to know what my rights are in the eventuality i do get lay-off too if i go back to work at some point. Can they even let me go while I'm on disability? My cancer is unpredictable, so I have no clue when back to work will happen.

I'm going to email you about this directly.
