I was on LTD for 2 years and my claim was closed. My employer was told that I was to be placed in a sedentary position when I return back to work. My employer informed me that there weren't positions that fit my needs. HR said maybe I should consider a buyout. I haven't heard from them in almost 5 months. What are my options? I also have a new medical condition that is related to the condition I was on LTD that is making going back to work not possible.

If you were not cleared to return to work by your doctors at the 2 year mark, you should not have been cut off by the insurer. Please give us a call ASAP to discuss your option - our phone number is below.
