I have been on LTD for 1 year and am trying to go back to work but it's proving to be harder than I thought so am starting to think that my employer does not want me back. How will my LTD be affected if my employer terminates my employment? Will the insurance company end my claim? Will my employer have to pay me termination pay? Will they count the period that I've been on STD/LTD as termination notice and claw back the amounts I received from STD/LTD? Will I be able to claim for any loss of wages due to the difference in the salary I would have received during my time on LTD and the amount I actually received? Also, would I be able to claim for damages for pain and suffering?

I'm going to email you about this directly.
