Currently on LTD for 1 year due to an adjustment disorder. Insurance is pushing a back to work rehab plan. After discussions with my doctor, i provided insurance my doctors notes that did not support this plan at the moment.

Now insurance has requested more information from my doctor...basically given me a week to respond..and they say they will pause the payments till a review is made. I shall get them more info from my doctor...but is there anything i should be on the lookout for. In a nutshell...they are basically ignoring my drs advice and pressuring to go back to work

The decision to return to work should be made between you and your doctors. That said, you're right that sometimes insurance companies will ignore the opinions of doctors in cutting someone off of benefits.

I'm going to email you directly to give you a bit more information about this situation.
