Is this something they can do at work? Answer: Some LTD policies have "recurrent disability" terms that permit a claimant to resume their previous LTD claim without having to reapply or wait through the qualifying period again, if they become totally disabled again (after having returned to work) within a certain period of time (usually 3, 6 or 12 months). That may be what they were referring to.
