Add Comment Question: My daughter fell at work march 7/23. Went to hospital and had scaphoid fracture. Company had her return next day to work. She works on auto parts machines. Although she wasn’t to use right hand and modified duties agitated her injury she was reported and worked with wsib After doctors , specialists and therapy she continued to go to work and took what company offered her to get paid. Long story short it is now march 2025 her arm and wrist has severe pain still and swelling she is now being treated for anxiety and mental distress with wsib program and finally found a family doctor. Doctor gave medical leave for 2 week because of my daughters state This note was sent to work and she was informed she needs to call in every morning shift or she is no show and no pay. Although they don’t pay her anyway I find out she pays into ltd sun life policy still today. Can she apply and have a grievance against the employer. This entire 2 years she has been seeing wsib doctors and specialists. She does have file on case.
