Add Comment Question: My wife has been on LTD benefits since October 4, 2022. Because of the financial insecurity of my wife being on LTD and other financial pressures we have decided to leave Ontario in the future. Our question is will the Insurance Company cut off my wife's benefits once she informs her employer and the Insurance Company. Answer: You should review your wife's LTD policy carefully to determine if she's eligible to receive benefits if she's out of province. Some policies do have travel restrictions that would affect her benefits if she moves.
