Now I have blood pressure which was detected before a few months ago. also have diabetes and feeling depression and anxiety, memory loss problems. Now doctor has again suggested to use sleep apnea machine and I have started to use it before a few days but problems still persists. Can I claim disability benefits, please advise. I am on contract position since last 2 years in a private company. we have Manulife insurance. Thanks Answer: Thanks for your question. If you have Short- or Long-Term disability benefits, and your doctor thinks that you need to be off work due to your disability, then you should be able to apply for these. If you are denied for any reason, let us know ASAP and we will review.
