Add Comment Question: On Oct. 13, 2021 I had an anaphylactic reaction to my first and only pfizer covid vaccine within 15min of administration. I was at an AHS clinic and the head nurse attended to me and called an ambulance. I received 3 epinephrine before reaching the hospital. The doctor at emergency wrote on my chart into Netcare that I had an anaphylactic reaction to pfizer vaccine. I had to return to hospital the next day and was given a 4th dose of Epinephrine and was told I was having a rebound reaction. I was put on prednisone for 5 days and when I came off it I had another rebound reaction and had to return to the hospital and be put on an IV of prednisone and then a longer term high dose of prednisone. My case is well documented by physicians and my family doctor signed a medical exemption for me. I was told by the Medical Office of health that I was to never get an MRNA vaccine again. I had months of time off work as a substitute teacher as a result of it and after two years I am still on a high dose of antihistamines as a result of the vaccine. I was sent to two allergist and have had numerous medical appointments as a result of all this. On Oct 24,2022 I applied to the Vaccine Injury Support Program. I am still waiting to hear from them as to who took over my claim since my original case manager has since left. I have submitted all my medical documents to them as requested and was told their medical doctors are reviewing my case but that was months ago. I am wondering if my case is one I can get compensation for and if so what would be a fair and responsible amount for them to give me? Also if they deny me are their other options? I have missed months of work because of my reaction and had many difficulties following the incident with my school board pressuring me to get a second vaccine… I am hoping there will be some compensation for my losses. What are your thoughts? Thanks so much. Answer: I'm going to email you about this directly.
