I was on STD and then LTD. I worked 8 hours per week of modified duties and then I had surgery. In a few months I will be returning to modified duties in a gradual return to full duties. Our contract states that you don't accumulate vacation while on STD or LTD, however it is silent about modified duties. Should I be getting vacation time for the days I am working modified duties? I already had to fight to get my contractual raises that were owed during my disability leave and now question the answer no regarding vacation. Thank you

Thank you for your question. You absolutely accumulate vacation pay every time you work, regardless of the duties. If they give you an issue, you can file a claim with the Ministry of Labour.
