If you are receving LTD disability and you are approved passed change of definition on ltd and than you are involved in MVA. can you claim NON earners benefits on top of your LTD payments or ltd will get entitled to deduct non earners benefits? help is really appreciated.

Depending on the wording of your LTD policy the insurer may in fact be able to claim credit for Non-Earner Benefits you receive, which means that you won’t be able to get one on top of the other. That in fact is what happened in the case of Hamblin v. The Standard Life Assurance Company 2016 ONCA 854 (O.C.A.).
