I just received notice that my Long Term Disability is now “suspended” because my doctor didn’t get forms in on time. Once they receive these forms will I receive payment for the month they say (October) that my LTD has been suspended? I’m in total panic.

Yes generally if the insurer stops payment and then restarts the non-paid month or months are subsequently paid. But I am concerned that the payments were suspended in the first place. That is a very harsh thing to do by the insurer and we should discuss your legal options, especially if they don’t restart payments ASAP. Please contact me and we can discuss.
