I am on LTD and I recently received a letter from my insurance company Manulife telling me that I need to fill out the CPP forms they sent me. Do I have to fill the forms out? What would happen if I do not fill out the forms? Why do they want the CPP forms filled out?

I assume that you are referring to CPP Disability. You should apply for it. If you don’t then the insurer may estimate how much you should be getting from CPP Disability and reduce your monthly LTD payments but the estimated CPP Disability amount.
