Hello there,
I have been on Long Term disability for 2 years from my employer. I was able to get back to work for about 3 months, then found another job, close to home. Unfortunately I was laid off from that job after two days of start, I think that I am not yet 100% back to my normal function. I have applied for Employment Insurance and was denied since I didn't have enough hours. They also denied extension for two years to review my insurable earnings that would give me enough hours to claim EI. Please let me know what is the best course of action, I am stranded without income, I am also searching for work and wasn't successful so far. Thank you for your help

Unfortunately you won't qualify for long term disability if you can work, but no work is available. You can see if you qualify for social assistance.
