I’m on Ltd since February 2014 and was approved past the change of definition after 2 years in February of 2016. I was also denied cpp disability after 2 appeals and a decision was rendered. My current employer has just terminated me effective December of 2019 because of plant closure. My question is can my Ltd provider cut off my benefits because my restrictions and limitations were based on my predisability job? Seeing that I no longer work for the company doing that job anymore?

No your LTD insurer should continue to pay you so long as you meet the definition of total disability as per the policy. However, we may possibly be able to help you with severance for the termination of your employment. Please call or email me at my contact info below and we will do our best to help.
