I was dx with PTSD shortly after I was diagnosed with Lynch syndrome (cancer gene), after having colon cancer. I left work may 20 2019. I am currently on STD. I seriously doubt I will ever be able to work again. I know LTD and all these government programs take a long time... but I don't know what u should do. do I wait and see what happens? should I apply for things now? I'm worried my insurance company will decide all my conditions are pre-existing despite only having received my Dx in 2018/2019. ive applied to the criminal injuries board for assistance with therapy $$ . I live in Ontario. I'm worried about supporting my family financially. I don't want to lose my house.

You should apply for long term disability as soon as you can. If you get denied or cut off, call or email me at my contact info below and we will do everything in our power to help. You should also apply for CPP Disability.
