I became disabled/injured in Sept 2019 and I turned 65 in Aug 2019. The insurer is refusing my claim based upon age 65 expiry of LTD coverage. This seems to be aa human rights violation - I paid into the coverage for 9 years and when I now need it, the insurer is denying my claim

Unfortunately they are allowed to do it. I absolutely agree with you that it’s not fair but there’s nothing we can do.
