I am currently on disability Insurance for Cancer.
Benefits are about 60% of my previous wage earnings.
I am unable to work in my previous capacity. I am also unable to work full time due to my current situation.
Would I be allowed to work in another capacity part time to make up the 40% deficit without affecting my current disability benefit?
I did also qualify for CPP as my Insurer requested I apply. CPP installments are approx 25% while Insurer now covers 75% of the original disbursement.

You need to look at your specific LTD policy wording but generally if you can work in another occupation your insurer may cut you off after the 2 year mark, especially if you can earn up to 60-65% of your pre-disability salary.
