I am on Ltd and CPP disability. My employer switched insurance/pension plan carriers. At the same time my employment contract was deemed “frustrated” and I was paid out my pension. Will the pension payout affect my LTD amount being received from original insurance company? Thanks.

It may affect your LTD but we should discuss what happened with your employment and whether your employment contract was actually frustrated. If it wasn’t then you’re entitled to severance and possible human rights damages if you’ve been let go. Please call or email me at my contact info below to discuss your situation.
