I don’t get benefits from my employer so I purchase my own disability insurance. It costs me $350/month and I just want to know if you think certain insurance companies are better then others. I just want to make sure my money is going to the right place in the event I can not work.
Good for you for getting private insurance. I can’t really advise on which insurer to use. A broker is better for that. I’ve dealt with all of them and depending on the adjusters and each specific case all of them, to some degree, operate similarly in my experience.
