Hello, I am writing an appeal letter to IA insurance for long term disability where they are forcing me back to work before I'm ready. I'm waiting for a second knee replacement however the there are more issues that are preventing from working then just pain in my legs. I have developed other health issues while on disability that prevent me from doing my job the insurance company isn't aware of. If I inform the insurance company of the unrelated health problems is it to my advantage if I can prove it with medical documents? or is this not in my favor?

You should advise your insurer of any health reasons that prevent you from working. However, appeals rarely work. You should call or email me at my contact into below and we can discuss your legal options which would be more effective at forcing your insurer to pay you what you are owed.
