I worked as Principal Consultant and got short and long term disability. I do not have the hability and nerves to fufill the requirements of this hight level Job, due to depression, alcoholism and brain tumor. It's been 7 years and the insurrance as still asking if I can return to work. Can I be forced to find another kind of job, like clerk, cashier with a income drastically reduced? Is my insurrance obligated to pay my of % of my salary, unless my doctor agree that I can do that same level of job. In other terms, if I'm only able to occupied a job that require less skills, ability, etc... then the insurance company has to obligation to pay the benefit? Thank you so much

I'm going to email you about this directly.
