I was scheduled for a call with my LTD disability case manager this week. I have been highly stressed with him and I have expressed to him that i was highly stressed with the independent assessor they asked me to see as she was accusing me of "faking" my cognitive impairments. With all this stress I ended up having an epileptic seizure (i got my first one when I was off before on LTD) and was rushed to hospital and was there for a few days. I communicated with my LTD case manager I was not able to make the meeting as I am weak and cannot talk and had to see my doctors. She then replied asking for me to schedule a follow up appointment with him after my last doctor's appointment next week. This is stressing me out and is impacting my recovery and am scared I will end up in the hospital again. I do have my family doctor's note to indicate for him not to bother me for this month. I plan on sending the letter to the case manager. What else do I need to do to protect myself?

I need a bit more information about your situation, so I'm going to email you directly.
