If I proceed with a routine screening test, (e.g., a mammogram), even though the ride to the hospital and the walk or wheelchair trek to the testing area will likely create a temporary setback (could be a week or two, estimated), can the LTD company withhold my benefit during the setback in my covered condition? I am on an extended return to work plan and may not be able to fulfill my work hours for the time during the setback. Does it make a difference if a physiotherapist or GP has recommended proceeding with the screening test? Again, it's routine and not due to any new symptoms related to the screening test. Thank you.

I need a bit more information about your situation to answer this, so I'm going to email you directly about it.
